Presidents’ Day is popularly viewed as a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents past and present. Like Independence Day, Presidents’ Day is traditionally viewed as a time of patriotic celebration and remembrance.

Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, it is still officially called “Washington’s Birthday” by the federal government.

We had the pleasure of visiting Mount Rushmore, National Memorial – South Dakota, USA and theses are a few of our favorite pics.

Mount Rushmore features George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt & Abraham Lincoln for the important events in the history of the United States that they represent.
